Time Calculator
Add or subtract hours, minutes, and seconds. Calculate working hours and time differences.
How to Use the Time Calculator
This time calculator handles two types of time problems: adding or subtracting time values, and finding the difference between two times. It correctly handles the base-60 nature of time (60 seconds = 1 minute, 60 minutes = 1 hour) so results are always in proper hours, minutes, and seconds.
Adding and Subtracting Time
Enter two time values (hours, minutes, seconds) and choose Add or Subtract. For example, 2h 30m + 1h 45m = 4h 15m. The calculator automatically carries over 60-second and 60-minute boundaries. You can also convert minutes to hours — just enter 90 minutes to get 1h 30m.
Working Hours Calculator
Switch to "Time Difference" mode. Enter your start time (e.g. 9:00) and end time (e.g. 17:30), and enter your break duration in minutes. The calculator shows elapsed time and net working hours. It handles overnight shifts (e.g. 22:00 to 06:00) by automatically treating the end time as the following day.
